The day at Conor's house.

I chose this picture because it reminds me of good times.

It was taken at Conor's house and we played volleyball while the others swam.

It was hot, we were with our penpals and it was very funny. Conor's family offered us cowboy hats!

I was very pleased and the others too.

We were really glad to meet our penpals. We wish we could have stayed longer.

We had feelings for them. That is why I decided to write an article on this picture.

In order not to forget this day.

Before our show, in Austin, Raynaldo wanted to calm us down.

For this, we were lying on the floor. We closed our eyes and Raynaldo talked to us. He said “Imagine, you are on the beach, lying down. You are on the sand, it’s hot.”

When it was over we were feeling good !

 We had been waiting for this moment for five months. But before the meeting, we had a long trip, Montpellier>Marseille by bus and Marseille>Paris, Paris>Houston by plane. When, we were in Texas, we visited Houston, St Antonio, and Austin.

When we arrived in Austin, we did aquatic activities but all our penpals were not there yet. So, on D Day, we met all our penpals. And in the morning, we took classes with them, and we saw the campus.

We were so happy to meet them, and we won’t forget them. We still stay in touch through Facebook ... Maybe, next year, they will visit us.

This picture was taken in Austin, in St. Stephen High school. We met our penpals and spoke to each other for the first time. It was fun because they spoke French and we spoke English. It was funny. After that, we listened to their choir. The main singer was really compelling! Later on, we went to the theater, the place where we played the musical. We had a rehearsal and then we went to the hotel. I really liked Texas, it was a good place.

This picture was taken at SSES with our penpals at the gym.

When we are arrived at SSES, we met ours penpals and we had the first contact. We entered the gymnasium and we played basketball and football. After, we took this picture and we went to the chapel and we attended the choir.

I really loved our penpals and I want to see them again. We had a really good moment.
